:It's been a while since anyone's posted in here, so I thought I'd "brush off the cobwebs" w/ a question...
:In the corners of our basement windows (both indoors & out) there are Black Window Spider webs, most predominant in Summer. Are they easy to care for? Would the set up for a cage & the type of food for them be the same as caring for a wolf spider? Thanks for any help.

Piece o' cake! Widows don't wander much, preferring to hang out upside down in their webs. I've had one for six months, raised her since she had juvie markings, and she does fine in a little pet carrier. She's selected her corner and has webbed it up to her satisfaction. I mist the web occasionally, don't know if she drinks the beads of water or not. She gets fed several times a week, and is now the size of a small marble.
They're pretty low maintenance critters.
