Unless you are allergic ot spider venom or misindentified the spider...you have made a terrible mistake!
Wolf spider bites are not harmful to most humans...plus they are very timid creatures and will run at the slightest notice of a human.
You may have been bitten by a hobo spider. These cause noticeable bites...one species, the brown recluse..may kill.
There are commercial traps to kill hobo spiders you probably don't need one with that spider squishing shoe there. (one to many whackamole games huh? LOL)
Remeber that spiders are beneficial creatures in general, and even most venemous spiders would rather run and hide than fight a human(and get squished)
