:I live in Florida and I have a spider that I caught that I can't identify. It is VERY aggressive (bit my husband upon contact with his arm) From front of head to end of body is approx: 1 3/4' (one &three quarter inches) It is brown and tan in color with black tips on all feet. The front two legs (by the mouth) have black fuzzy tips (like pompoms) The eye pattern is 2 postier, 2 top center and 2 anterior. The Belly is black with a large white section on the lower part. The marking resemble those of a wolf spider but it has little to no hair. What concerns me is that this spider is VERY AGGRESSIVE. As soon as you put a finger to the jar it will rear up and expose its fangs. I have searched the web for more detailed infomation on HOBO's but have found little. The one picture I did find looks alot like this spider, but so do some of the Wolf pictures.
: As I said it bit my husband. Here is a description of the bite. Two very close holes (almost appear as one) within 2 hours a red area had formed around the bite, the center turned white almost like a blister. When it popped the bite bled. The redness has gone away, but there is a marking like a bruise around the area now. He has no other symptoms (immediately took Benadryl)but I am still concerned. PLEASE if you recognize this spider or have any other information you can share ( close up photos of wolfs and hobos) I would be greatful. My E-mail address is FASTBLND2U@AOL.COM

It sounds like a typical hobo bite where the bite region swells up and opens like a volcano. Its tough to say if its a hobo or not but you should have your husband get medical attention either way.
