Hello to everyone!

Recently I have had a concern over spiders that I am finding in my apartment. One was the size of my hand. I contacted the Texas agricultural extension service and tried to give the best description of it that I could and the Entymologist guessed that it might be a Wolf Spider. I killed another one today and it was exactly like the other ones Ive killed. They look similar to a grass spider except that the first legs away from its "face" are black. I know this isnt much to go on, and I am trying to get a picture of one. I have a nice healthy fear of spiders even though I know they are beneficial to the insect world. Its just that I dont want them in my bed. What insecticides are recommended where pets are involved? Any help is appreciated.

Steve
