help-I was attacked

No idea what kind of spider this is. Its large with a leg span of 2-3", deep brown, almost black in some places, alightly hairy, and looked as though it had a stinger on the back of it, although I'm positive it was a spider. It attacked me at night when I was sleeping (I think it got trapped in my blankets)and I woke up with bites/stings all over my legs that itched like crazy for two weeks and scarred me about one and a half months. It was fairly quick moving (Ifound it the morning after crawling up my arm from under the blankets). Please help me identify it.
