Yesterday 2-3 dozen paper wasps landed on the eave of our house. They have stayed there for two days now and look for all the world like a swarm of bees -- except they're paper wasps. They are much more agitated than the other paper wasps in the area (all of whom have nests) and seem a tad disorganized. Do paper wasps swarm? Could their nest have been damaged or destroyed? Could it be the drought? Any thoughts? Thanks -- Emmy
