Mine has done that. When one of our cats (little bugger!) got a little too close to the tarantula cage (looking in thru the screen top) our Chilean Rose flicked his hairs. One good thing about that was that I could easily tell when he was going to molt as the little peach colored patch turned dark grey close to molting.
