Pinktoes are very docile, and bites from them are extremely rare. They are actually afraid of YOU, which is why yours tries to run away when you handle it. The slamming door just startled it ( again, they are very skittish creatures ). Even if you did get bitten, which is very unlikely, you wouldn't have much to worry about. Tarantula venom is not life-threatening, and the venom your pinktoe has is so pathetically weak against humans, that you would experience almost no symptoms at all. It would hurt, and maybe itch and swell at little, but that's it.
