::I live in San Diego. Today, a weird little bug wafted down on the breeze. Superficially, it resembles a stick insect, but the front legs are modified into mantis-like arms. It's about 2 inches long, very thin, may have wings.

Done, and done! This pic clearly shows the mantid-like pose of the front legs. The full size version of this pic is clearer, but much too large to post here!
