I have a reply to Areminta's "illegal sticks"?

I subscribe to the American Tarantula Society for nearly 10 years and see and ad on the last page by the UK's PHASMID society. I personally wrote them with the same idea Areminta has and the reply was that the USDA Food & Agriculture may inspect certain shipments of "live" insects not allowing certain types of insects like the UK's species into the USA, which there is a severe penalty for both the sender and receiver if caught! Also, one cannot send or receive eggs either of any overseas PHASMID's. Why take the chance of getting in serious trouble? Stick to the USA species or species from South America or Africa? Those speices, I have gotten in the past. They're not Giant Prickly Sticks "Macleays Spectre", but in themselves are quite large and bizarre creatures! ...Robt Szymanski..
