::i have found a pair (or i think they are a pair) of Diapheromera arizonensis (i think they are that species) last weekend in sierra vista arizona and was hoping to keep them. I do not have access to bramble this time of year. i have placed a small rose bush in there cage, will they eat rose leaves? is there anything i should feed them?
::your help would be much appreciated.

:hi,
:if you´re identified them correctly, the best foodplant (from Phasmid Study Group) would be Acacia (or false acacia > Robinia)
:but as D. fermorata also accepts Bramble, rose, oak, apple, wild cherry and raspberry for the young ones, you might try this also.
