I don't know if this was meant to be humorous, but I thought your description was very funny. I'm picturing Homer dreaming of doughnuts, "...mmmmm chocolate phasmids...."
You know, I'd love to have some of your extra Indian walking sticks. I have a number of herps, and I've been wanting to set up a breeding colony of Indian walking sticks for them. I think my Jackson chameleons would especial love the younger sticks. They both (chams and phasmids) look so cool! Kinda like aliens from the planet Namik or something. Maybe that's what our first contact with aliens will be like. Some Sleestack-looking (remember Land of the Lost?) chameleon-alien will be trying to establish a rapore with us while chewing on a smaller phasmid-like alien...
