:i have a thai stick insect thats laying eggs everynight.
:i decided to incubate some of these eggs but i accedently dropped them so i just thought they wont hatch any way well
:Later on i found a baby stick insect but i couldnt keep it alive and it only lived for 22 hours.

:How long will the eggs need to incubate for i have some incubatibg now for about 2 weeks.
:how should i keep the babies ?

The eggs should hatch in approx. 6-8 weeks at room temp. Be carfeul on how many you keep because the hatch is extremely high. The babies need to be place in another container with feed(bramble, oak, eucalyptus) as soon as they hatch. I find that checking them every morning before work, will help in finding early. What I use as nymph enclosures are tupperware containers lined with paper towel with pieces of feed branches. The place where the branches are cut i wrap with cotton balls and then pour water over the cotton. After the everything is in the container I spray it down with water. As for the lid. all I do is cut out the center of it leaving about inch left on the edges so that the lid covers as normal. For the hole, i take a pair of pant hose and cover the top of the entire container and place the lid over that to hold it in place. after the cage is setup, then place your insects in it.Do not put nymphs in before sprayning with. Never spray dirtectly on the insect. Let me know how it works out
