:Yesterday, I was lying on the floor of my house, studying, and a dead spider fell to the ground 2 inches away from me. From what I know about spiders, I believe that it must be a Brown Recluse. I live in a place that would be a perfect home for them and everything. I was just wondering if anyone knew what their web looked like and where they are usually built. Do they tend to be small, messy, and condensed? Thanks.

Recluse spiders usually make a messy, sheet-like web. However, they do not live strictly in their webs at all times, and will leave them to wander around. This website has a good page on them. www.hobospider.org .
