I lived in New Orleans for a couple years and jumping spiders were everywhere. But I grew up in Berkeley and had never seen one in California.

Well, I moved back and I could swear I just found one on my door frame on the porch. It's been unseasonably warm this weekend. I moved her away and when I set her down she hopped, hopped, hopped off.

Do they live here, if not so proliferately as in the South?
