Yep.. same spider, but the recent pics were AFTER she had molted.. I noticed she's getting a little darker now, so I'll keep an eye on her, but I'm pretty sure ECO is correct..

She does look more and more like a western BW. Will keep ya'll posted if anything changes.

:Is that the same spider that was in the first pic? It appears to have much less brown than before. Did it molt since the first pic? Brown widows are not black at all, so you may have an immature L. hesperus ( western widow ) , like ECO says. If it's immature, that might account for the markings on the top of its abdomen.
