It just shed the other day. Here is a pic of it *after* shedding.. I don't claim to be a spider expert, but it doesn't look like any black widow I've ever seen.
:it could be a brown widow or a baby black widow. you could find out by taking care of it and keeping an eye on it to see if it gets big and black or stays relatively small and brown.
