She was one of last year's hatch that overwintered somewhere near the creek. Currently she's about the size of a quarter, but these gal's grow FAST once they start getting a regular food supply. Last year I had one molt twice in a 10 day period....she ended up having a legspan of almost 5" by the end of September. ECO


:Nice! D. tenebrosus is a neat species. I like the pic of the female with her legs spread out especially well, it brings out her size. :) How large was she anyway? 3"? 4"? Oh, and the P. aucax shadow pic was cool!
