Should emperors go right after the cricket when I put it in the cage. I've had this adult emp. for maybe a month or two and any time I put food in there(even if I drop it right on it's head), it never seems to go after it. I put 2 or sometimes 3 crickets in a week. I think the emp. must have eaten some b/c I can't see them running around in the cage, but they could have burrowed under the substrate (I use forestbed, kind of like bed-a-beast). Is it normal for them to like, not eat in front of you? Thanks.
