This is TRUE!!!!! I have learned the hard way. I started out with 3 females and 2 males and ended up with over 250 babies. After noticing the first oothecas, I took the males out of the tank. All 3 females had their babies several weeks later. A few weeks after that, they all had oothecas again and it has been an endless cycle. It has been over a year since the males and females were together, but the original 3 females are still producing babies. My advice is not to get too many of the females pregnant, or you will soon have more roaches than you can handle.
