Of course we didn't think to take a picture...

Please help mom and the kids identify this caterpillar:

5 inches long, 3/4 in diameter, solid red caterpillar. No spots, no hairs, no horns. Found on gravel driveway, early September, central Indiana. Lighter red/orange underneath, legs along the entire length of the body. Very cool.
