Don't know if anyone can help but I ordered some caterpillars called American Ailianthus over the Internet, and other than the fact they eat Privet at an alarming rate I know nothing about them. A note arrived with them referring to them as 'Advena'. Does anyone know anything about them? I'm mostly worried about what to provide them with to pupate. They are about 12mm in length (at 2 weeks old, I'm guessing they're not yet fully grown), light green with rows of hairs in horizontal stripes along their bodies, they also have a very small orange/red head and move quickly. Please help! Thanks!
