I have found that a bug zapper-- with the zapper part disconnected !!-seems to be extremely effective! and I then hang some white cloths and paper around my porch-every night the porch is literally crawling! (My neighbors seem to be happy that all the bugs are on MY porch and not theirs LOL)

It's Better than any other type of light I've tried.

I have over 300 different species of moths I've found just in a month plus lots and lots (and lots...) of other interesting insects.

BTW-I don't collect them-I just photograph them. :-)
