::Hi!
::I am now keeping my giant green pill-millipede about 7 month
::and have found out something new:
::One fresh moulted millipede (weight 23gramm) became a disease.
::His light green(after moulted) colour get more greyish an he got some brown spots ( 1 cm) on his tergits.
::He got motorical problems and was not able to turn back on his feed. Even after turning him round he moves after some minutes back to his dorsal site. The rolling-in-effect was not affected.
::After three (!!) days he was dead an weighted only 16gramms. So he looses 7 gramms in three days!
::The other three ones are normal.
::Has anyone an idea what has happened with my pilly?
: This is Jason, I am so sorry to hear what happened. This is what befell all my giant green pill millipedes. The rolling on to the back was not exihibeted but the spots certainly were. Death occourred in about another month. I do not know what it was as well. But I have had those little cute Tan Tanzanian pillbugs withsome success for months now. Good to see you posted even if not for the best of reasons.
: Keep posting.
