Those brown spots on the Giant Pill Bugs

In the past 20 years besides raising tarantulas, millipedes & scorpions, I've also been raising 3 types of giant pill bugs. Seems like the Giant Green variety get those brown spots. What are they? I wished I had the answer to that. The other 2 species I have don't get those spots or do they? If they do, well I haven't noticed any spots on them as long as I've been trying to breed them. Maybe Thomas W. might want to try contacting Stephen W. Bullington PhD. I read some articles he wrote for the American Tarantula Society (ATS) a number of years ago about millipedes and if I remember correctly he wrote something about giant pills. Not too sure, unless someone else wrote about them... Humidity and temperature is a key important factor and certain kinds of rotting substrates, plants and decaying wood all play a role in a successful breeding attempt. I've been raising/breeding millipedes and giant pills & had disasters & successes trying to breed these difficult myriapods. Robt S.
