That was unlucky! i've tried the same sort of thing myself! I can understand how you could lose all the stuff that was on your desktop. However the pages that you have allready uploaded should still be there. Can't you simply use your FTP program to connect to your server and download it all back onto your harddisk. OK, you will still have lost all that was on the desktop but at least it won't be like starting from scratch again.......
