Bite of Gramistola rosea?

Sorry if I got the scientific name wrong. I recently acquired my first tarantula; it was referred to a "Chilean common."

I have let it crawl up onto my hand for a few minutes, and then put it back. One of my kids wanted to hold it, but I was concerned about the effects of a bite, even though it seems quite docile. Guess I'm a hypocrite; "do as I say, not as I do" - lol.

Anyway, what is the risk of a bite? Is there any concern regarding allergic reactions?

I'm not big on handling it. In fact I've never held a tarantula before. I just wanted to see what it was like, and now that itch is scratched.
