I had a grasshopper, a big female, who suddenly died one day. Her insides have all been eaten out! When I disected her to find out what's wrong, about 9 maggots (huge ones, 1 cm long, 3 mm thick) crawled out. I didn't know that there are flies that parasited on grasshoppers! has anyone heard of this?
