I found a catapillar in my back yard and thought I would have a good project for my little ones to learn from, we would see this catapillar turn into a butterfly. Well, it made a cacoon and about two weeks later we have what appears to be a fly. I didn't think that flies reproduced like that. If anyone could clue me in on what happened here I would appreciate it. By the way there are what looks like two more flies inside the cacoon that haven't come out yet.??
