:from Robt Szymanski: ditto here. When I mail order 500 crickets and put 'em in a trash can with the egg cartons, I noticed the same thing eg: Recently molted crickets! They soon darken. Ditto for my recently molted Hissing Roaches.. they too get dark within a couple days. end of discussion here!
