Greg,

I've had good luck with a product called "Cricket Total Bites" from Nature Zone. It's a bucket of green gel that you can spoon out on to a small bowl and feed your crickets. I currently house between 2 to 3K crickets in a container for feeding my lizards and have had great success with this product. The crickets last much longer than feeding them regular food items and you don't have to deal with the "water issues" either since the product has a good percentage of water in it's base.
Check it out once, it might work for you too.
