My crickets hatched about 4 or 5 weeks ago and they still don't have their wings yet. I also read that when their wings grow they are old enough to breed. How long have you had your crickets? I think my crickets still have a long way to go. I read that their life span is about three months.

: When crickets are little (nymphs) do they look like miniature adults? I mean, I have a whole bunch of them in my tank and they all look like males. I read somewhere that they develop their wings at about two weeks and this means they are old enough to breed. Do females develop their ovipositor (the extra little tail thingy) later also or is it visible from the beginning?
