I have read that many of you only breed crickets to feed to your other 'pets'. I can only say... WHAT KIND OF SICK, MALICIOUS GROUP OF PEOPLE ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU EXPECT YOUR PARENTS TO DO WITH YOU ONCE YOU HAVE MATURED AND BRED?? I'm just joking. Seriously though, how come people don't see them as a pet within themselves? I stumbled upon the idea when I was reading about mantids, which led me somehow into the history of Chinese cricket culture, and then it becames really fascinating. People have put so much interest and energy into the smallest of hobbies, and this one seems to provide the most entertainment in return. I dunno, maybe listening to their chirping for so long has just warped my mind.....
