Cheers King Baboon,

Sound like I'm in for a bit of fun.Did all of yours survive?

TomB

:The same occurred to me with S. heros castaneiceps. I have had this wild-caught specimen for 11 months before she laid 45 eggs (parthenogenesis???? sperm retention????). She stayed under her claypot, coiled around her eggs, for approx 50 days (if memory serves me) at 27° C and good humidity (and NO DISTURBANCE OF ANY KIND OF COURSE), then the eggs hatched to give birth to 40 mm long exact replicas of the adult. I separated them immediately, they fed very well on baby crickets/cockroaches. Growth rate was pretty high.

:Hope this helps,

:KBab
