Hi,
I've just got my first centipede -'SHREDDER', I think it's a Scolopendra Subspinipes.It was listed as a Giant Vietnam Centipede.I've got a couple of questions.How is the latin name pronounced? is it sub-spin-i-pes? or sub-spin-ipes?
Also, I fed it a couple of crickets when I got it, amd then it vanished?!?.I presume it dug into the substrate?,but how long do they go, without showing their face?
I put another cricket in last night afer it 'went' and it seems to have gone, so it must have been eaten in the night.
