temp question

Hi, some tarantulas and scorps need temps in range of 80-85F. But the books that I have read said not to use heat tape, heat pad or ceramic heat emitters. So how would I raise the temp to 80-85F and how much of the enclosure needs to be heated? My room temp is 72F
