I had a lot of success keeping a Bwidow in a very large pickle jar. I put a stick in there that had several braches off of it for her to spin her web on and she seemed quite happy. Since i had her from a tiny baby, she had to learn at first not to try to clib out (I closed the lid quickly which had holes in it). I just dropped bugs in. She learned to just sit on the web and wait for the bugs and stopped trying to come out. She lived more then 2 years, almost 3.
