Another caterpillar ID question.. with photo

Hi, I am in Cameron County, Texas (all the way South). I found this big guy crawling the other day. I'm not an expert at butterflies or moths but I have an interest in them, we see a lot of neat stuff here but I have never seen anything exactly like this.

The only thing I can come up with is some kind of moth larvae, 'Rothschildia'? Oh.. the photo doesn't show how blue the ventral surface is.

What do you think? Thanks for any help,
