Hi, I came across an unusual beetle(possibly a scarab)and am in need of help identifying it. I live in Virginia and have never run across one quite like it before.. it's les than an inch long and looks as if it was rolled in pollen. It's overall coloration is a soft reddish brown with a mottled light brown to yellow color spread over it. I looked across the web for anything that matched it but the nearest I could find was a beetle named Allomyrina pfeifferi and from what I could tell it was not a native to the U.S. (the websites were very sparce on any info). I'll include a link so you may see it and perhaps get an idea of what I've seen. Thank you for the help..
