I found a queen ant and put her in a ant farm. But I have one problem I don't know how to take care of it, I'm not even sure if it will lay eggs.
I found this ant just a few days ago, it still has one pair of wings and was sitting in a crack on a piller at my school. I put her in a ant habitat and right now she is in the middle where there is a hole sorta thing that goes downabout half a inch, she just roams around the place I put some food in and a few drops of water but she still hasn't lost those wings. I'm not sure if she is a fertilizied queen. I know she will probably live, after all it has been 4 days and she is even more active now then when I first put here in. I just don't know. please help me. I need info on how to make sure this is a real fertilizied queen and how to take care of her. The farm is a normal ant farm kinda round and connects to another roundd part.
